When I first started bringing my paint kit down to Trestles to surf and paint, there were people who told me I was wasting my time.
I really did not see it as a waste of time.
It was joyous.
I loved it down there.
And I captured beautiful moments. I didn't worry about selling them. I wanted to show people how beautiful it was down there.
I wanted them to see what I was seeing.
